You can ask us to measure the amount and expanse of radioactive contamination. It’s entirely free of charge!

EcoStudies is a voluntary group which mainly consists of retired or semi-retired researchers, engineers, and technicians who are willing to volunteer their time to take advantage of their professional experiences and expertise for radioactive monitoring activities in areas contaminated with radioactive substances emitted from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. Young generation also joins in. Upon request our members of EcoStudies go anywhere and monitor radiation levels, the amount and expanse, free of charge.

Monitoring on the land

Monitoring on the land

It is crucial for the evacuees to know to what extent they are compelled to be exposed to unwanted radiation when they return home. Upon request we carefully and closely measure radiation levels room by room per house, in a garden and the surrounding field. We report the results to a client with drawings in which each of measured points shows the accurate radiation level in the unit of micro-Sieverts per hour.

Monitoring in the sea

Monitoring in the sea

We study the amount of residual radioactive substances at the surface and bottom of reefs which are habitats for the various marine organisms. Investigations on a large scale were made several times to the sea water, bottom layer, and harvested fish by various government-supported research institutes and universities which own research or training ships.
